Number Combination Slasher 3 - Part III
Command-based Reduction System for PICK 3 games

LIST FUNCTION
The new Reduction system contains 4 separate lists that can be used for reductions; they can be addressed as LIST 1, LIST 2, LIST 3 and LIST 4. When the system is started it automatically points to the LIST 1 without any command necessary. The commands are easy to understand and to learn. They are kept to be self-descriptive as far as possible.

We divided the commands in 3 parts:

  • List Functions – usually related to a list of numbers
  • Filter Functions – filters that can either be selected or unselected
  • Vtracs Filter Functions – due to the large number of filters the Vtracs Filters were separated from the “normal filters
Following you will find the list of all List Functions:

[USE LIST 1]
[USE LIST 2]
[USE LIST 3]
[USE LIST 4]
These commands each point to their respective list. There are currently 4 lists available in the NCS System.

[NAME]
This command allows you to provide the current list with a name. This name is used in the [SHOW] command as a Title. As a default the lists have the Titles LIST 1, LIST 2, LIST 3 and LIST 4 if you do not select a name.

[CLEAR]
This command empties the currently used list.

[COMPRESS]
If you have numbers in your list that occur multiple times this command will eliminate all the multiple occurrences of the same number.

[COMPRESS BOXED]
This command goes a step further and eliminates all numbers that have the BOXED value and keeps one occurrence of each BOXED number. The numbers are automatically converted into BOXED.

[FLIP]
This command turns a list upside down. The last number becomes the first.

[SHUFFLE]
This command randomly changes the position of each number within the list. It does not change the numbers themselves but their position.

[MIRROR]
This command gives you the mirror numbers of all list entries. For example the number 123 becomes 321 etc.

[SHIFT FORWARDS]
This command shifts the numbers one digit forward. For example the number 123 becomes 312. When you used this command 3 times in a row you will have the original numbers again.

[SHIFT BACKWARDS]
This command shifts the numbers one digit backward. For example the number 123 becomes 231.

[SWITCH A AND B]
[SWITCH A AND C]
[SWITCH B AND C]
Another important part of the program is that the digit positions within the numbers are defined as A, B and C. A is the first digit, B the second digit and C the last digit. That is important to know not only for digits but also for pairs. For example PAIR AB is the Front pair of the number consisting of the first and second digit.

These three commands exchange the value of two digits within the number. For example SWITCH A AND B exchanges the values of the first two digits, 123 becomes 213 with 1 and 2 switched. Using the “SWITCH” commands makes it possible to create every possible STRIAGHT combination from a boxed number.

[SCRAMBLE]
This command randomly changes the position of each digit within each number.

[SORT ASCENDING]
This command allows you to sort the numbers in your list from the lowest to the highest.

[SORT DESCENDING]
This command sorts the numbers from the highest to the lowest.

[SHOW]
The show command provides you with the selection within a list. It starts with the NAME of the list, all combinations within the list and the number of LIST COMBINATIONS below.

[SHOW BY OCCURRENCE]
Similar to the “CRUNCH” feature this special SHOW command gives you the list of all numbers from the list and divides them by occurrence of the number. The numbers that occur the most are on the top.

[SHOW BY OCCURRENCE BOXED]
Even more similar to the “CRUNCH” feature this special SHOW command gives you the list of all numbers from the list and divides them by occurrence of the boxed number. The numbers that occur boxed the most are on the top of the list.

[ADD LIST 1]
[ADD LIST 2]
[ADD LIST 3]
[ADD LIST 4]
These four commands allow you to add numbers from the other lists into your current list. For example [ADD LIST 2] adds all numbers from the LIST 2 into your current list.

[ADD ALL NUMBERS]
This command puts a list of all straight numbers into your current list.

[ADD ALL NUMBERS BOXED]
This command puts a list of all boxed numbers into your current list.

[ADD NUMBERS]
Finally this command allows you add your own selection of numbers to the current list.
