HOLMES - Elementary Deduction System - Part I
Software System for Pick 3 and Pick 4 Games

Welcome to one of the latest systems from Pick34.com services!
HOLMES can be used for short-term prediction as well as long-term forecasting. It comes in a Pick 3 and a Pick 4 version. Its focus lies on basic (“elementary”) deduction. Using a special internal prediction engine to rank the potential of upcoming numbers it also uses logical assumptions to deduct further numbers from the selection.

The general idea is to provide the player with a low number of combinations depending on the budget. It also offers additional selections for the advanced player to create more specific selections.

Below you will find the descriptions regarding the Input, Output and options the software provides you with. You will also get some background throughout the instructions to learn a bit more about the selection process and prediction in general.

INPUT
Later 3 or more Draws (Most Recent First)
Since more recently some of the new programs feature a new standard for inputting numbers. Many users requested some changes. This new standard was adjusted accordingly.

Numbers can be entered either with connected digits (e.g. 123, 556, 778) or with the digits divided with a dash (e.g. 1-2-3. 5-5-6, 8-0-6). Between the numbers any other non-numerical character can be used (e.g. 123 445 666 or 123.576.888).

You can also enter the numbers on different lines as well. This option allows you to copy numbers from external files or documents, such as Excel spreadsheets, text files, messages or other areas. Using either the “Paste Input “ button below the Input field or the Windows key combination Crtl-V you can copy data from the clipboard into the Input field. The “Clear Input” button empties the Input field completely.

For the HOLMES system you need to enter at least 3 previous draws. Starting from with the most recent one first. You can enter more numbers – as many as you want. These additional numbers do not have an impact on the internal prediction but there are very important for the “History Elimination”. Fore more insight on that please read the chapter on “History Elimination”.
