How many previous numbers for predictions?
The answer to a most frequent question!
The July 2002 Lottery Newsletter
A topic that came up fairly often in older issues of the Lottery Newsletter.

The more I evaluate and analyze data, new and old, it becomes more obvious that you should NOT use more that 12 previous drawings. Yes, that would be correct for almost any lottery. Results using older data gets - I cannot find another word - blurry. No structure and no consistency. The influence of old data to current lottery events is zero. Trends are based on long-term evaluation and are irrelevant because of many factors, lottery balls exchanged, location of drawings changed, different operator etc. The only focus has to be; What is currently (meaning in the near past and now) occurring.

All of my predictions, software and manual, are based on this approach - sometimes with slight adjustments. Whatever your idea is on how to select the numbers, make sure that you do but try to predict the near future with the past that is far behind.
