The Significance of Clean Numbers in Pick 3
Reduce your bets for your advantage
StrictlyMathematics.com Editor

The concept of “CLEAN” numbers is not new but it was applied for the first time in PICK34.COM Lottery Software.

What defines a "CLEAN" number?
A “CLEAN” number is a number that contains at least one odd digit, one even digit, one high digit and one low digit and three different digits.

Now the interesting thing is that there are exactly 492 straight “CLEAN” numbers and 82 boxed clean numbers. It is very significant because almost half of all numbers (49.2% to be exact) are “CLEAN”. So these 82 boxed numbers covers almost 50% of all possible results that are drawn. So if you play numbers you will win in average about every 2nd draw.

Let us call the numbers that are not clean “DIRTY”. Compared to the “CLEAN” numbers there are 508 straight “DIRTY” numbers. To cover these numbers you would need by far more boxed numbers: 138. “DIRTY” numbers include doubles, triples as well and you need 138 number to cover them all and you would only win 50% of the time if you would play them all. That is 56 numbers more than the “CLEAN” numbers or 68.3% more!

To make life even simpler for you here the list of the “CLEAN” numbers compared to the list of “DIRTY” numbers. You can quickly see the difference and you can copy the numbers into tools, messages and spreadsheets for easy comparison.
